Overview

Centurion Minerals (TSXV:CTN) is a Canadian-based exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of gold projects in the Americas, with a particular emphasis on Suriname and the Guiana Shield gold belt. The company is advancing a strategy centered on identifying and developing high-potential gold opportunities within one of the world’s emerging gold exploration regions.

Its Limestone Gold Project is strategically positioned in Suriname’s most productive gold-mining district, near the Rosebel and Saramacca mines which are currently operated by Zijin Mining. The project also lies within the same regional geological environment as Newmont’s Merian mine, highlighting the prospectivity of the broader Marowijne Greenstone Belt.

Gold mineralization in Suriname is primarily controlled by structural and lithological factors within the Paleoproterozoic Marowijne Greenstone Belt of the Guiana Shield. The region hosts multiple significant orogenic gold systems and remains underexplored using modern exploration techniques. For this reason, a strong increase in interest from both major and junior mining companies has developed recently.

Centurion’s leadership combines extensive capital markets, financing and technical expertise with direct exploration experience in Suriname. The addition of Dennis LaPoint strengthens the company’s in-country geological capability and supports its exploration strategy focused on discovery-driven growth and the identification of new gold targets within the Guiana Shield.

Company Highlights

  • Strategic Gold District Location: Limestone is located near Zijin Mining’s Rosebel and Saramacca mines within one of Suriname’s most active gold-producing regions.
  • District-Scale Land Package: The Limestone Gold Project spans 3,548 hectares with multiple exploration targets and significant discovery upside across a largely underexplored concession.
  • Favorable Geological Setting: The project lies within the Paleoproterozoic Marowijne Greenstone Belt of the Guiana Shield, a prolific geological terrane known for hosting major orogenic gold deposits.
  • Demonstrated Gold Mineralization: Historic and active artisanal mining throughout the concession confirms the presence of gold mineralization across the project area.
  • Experienced Suriname Discovery Expertise: President and director, Dennis LaPoint was part of the geological team responsible for the discovery of the Merian gold mine, (currently owned by Newmont) and contributed to the resource expansion around the Rosebel mine.
  • Systematic Exploration Strategy: Centurion is advancing geological mapping, data compilation and target generation programs aimed at defining high-priority drill targets.
  • Established Regional Mining Activity: The region hosts producing mines operated by Zijin Mining and Newmont and has experienced increasing exploration activity from multiple junior exploration companies.
  • Tight Capital Structure: As of May 1, 2026, Centurion had 33,817,354shares outstanding and a market capitalization of approximately $2.4 million.

Historic and active artisanal mining across the Limestone concession demonstrates the presence of gold mineralization throughout multiple areas of the property. Despite its favorable location and demonstrated mineralization, much of the concession remains underexplored using modern exploration methods.

Centurion is advancing a disciplined exploration approach focused on geological mapping, data compilation and target generation across multiple prospective zones. The company’s objective is to define drill-ready targets and advance exploration within a highly prospective gold district that continues to attract growing industry interest.
